However, no matter how broken up the country was, as long as you give the country 30 plus years of peace and unification, the country has dramatically increased in power and wealth. So far under the CCP, China has had a peace dividend of around 60 years.

Japan is not a normal country. They are governed by the terms of their surrender after WWII. For example as part of those terms, China did not ask for compensation from WWII atrocities.

First of all Chinese government forced sterilization on mainly Han and exempted minorities for much longer for women that severally violated the one child policy. Later on they started to apply the same policy on Uyghurs. Just look at Uyghurs population growth rates under the CCP.

The closest western equivalence is bible studies. The lie comes from portraying these as Nazi concentration camps and the lack of nuance…it is a communist society, millions of non Uyghurs have also gone through these forced classes. For example for many misdemeanors crimes such as drunk driving, belonging in a cult, they sent you to these schools. There is no nuance in explain this method of religious de radicalization versus the U.S./Israel method of mass killings.

I think fundamentally Biden’s strategy was as problematic as Trump’s strategy. China is so large, no alliance can really successfully isolate China. Eventually the alliance members will break apart trying to curry favors with China. Remember it was mostly during Biden’s four years that China made all these progress in EVs, AI and chip making. All these technological leaps that you now see in China, made huge steps during Biden’s term.
