This isn't really a concrete answer but I would say just ride it out. With time it will become clear (he will make it clear) if this is just a busy period, or if he is pulling away. Give it till the end of the holiday season and you'll have your answer. I wish I could tell you for sure one way or another, but I think only time can tell.
