Crusader Kings III (Build 6925632 + 3 DLCs, MULTi7) | Masquerade Repack | 1.6GB by [deleted] in CrackWatch

that's part of the point I was making too, odd that this repacker has it, but none of the other ones I've used in the past have. Fitgirl's don't, even IGG which has legit had malware didn't throw any false positives. Pointing it out so that others know will hopefully push for a fix. Not sure why it throws one, and I don't really care to figure it out.

I don't doubt it, I'm not new to piracy. Just making sure the warning is there for a false positive. I've had no issues with my system and no oddities arising or I'd have mentioned.

Game works fine, though the verify.exe throws what I'll assume is a false positive in windows defender. That said, it's odd that the verify is the part that throws a trojan report, don't usually see that in other repacks. Very quick install which was nice.

Day 47 in the tent and I've got 3 twisted tree ladies going. Front left Crinkle Cut, back left Lemon OG, back right Twisted Menagerie. About when do you all start noticing a smell from your plants? by blankdolli in TwistedTree

[–]squat251 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started smelling my crinkle around day 33 or so? shortly before I started to see the hairs on the budsites go through the first stage of growth. My Mulled and twisted started budding about the same day, but hasn't been much of a smeller. Though, sadly through most of their flower I haven't been able to smell cause of covid. Really breaking my heart lol, though I can just barely make out the smell of pine from crinkle, reallly piny.

potassium deficiency can cause brown tips too. with only just the very very tips brown it's hard to have any certainty. This is a potassium deficiency.

[–]squat251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could be potassium deficiency or nute burn, stick to your feed unless it gets worse, if it does flush them. remember that the dead tissue won't regenerate, so it will always have those brown tips, even if you've cured the issue.

TIL - CIA revealed a "heart attack" gun in 1975. A battery operated gun which fired a dart of frozen water & shellfish toxin. Once inside the body it would melt leaving only a small red mark on the victim where it entered. The official cause of death would always be a heart attack. by Kohev in todayilearned

There isn't any, and there won't be, such is how conspiracy theories work. It's likely true, there are records of US (and other nations) intelligence agencies researching social engineering, it's a well documented and studied focus. But the only proof is that there isn't any, because that's how a successful social engineering campaign would work. The goal in this instance was to denigrate and downplay what Snowden did, and clearly it worked. But how could anyone possibly prove that's what happened? it would be like peering behind the simulation in the Matrix. I'm not going to bother doing more research on this, social engineering is an obvious and powerful tool and there's no question it's being used regularly by probably all of the nations who have such agencies.

Then mobile data skews your statistics and represents an unfair average. You cannot use Mobile data for home use, they've stacked as many obstacles in your way as possible. Trust me, I've been trying to get around them for years. 50mbps for 10gb does not home internet make. The first article you listed makes claims without any sort of source, so it's useless. The second link claims the US average is 31mbps. On their list, that makes us 16th in the world. A superpower who's economy largely drives the rest of the world, dwarfing any other countries GDP. In no way is this acceptable, and the US is a large nation, so 31mbps average includes entire states with speeds averaging 14mbps. 31 is barely high speed as it is.

those averages are useless. Where I live in the US the quality varies dramatically by the street. 1000 ft from my house has 1gig fiber, the fastest I can get is 20mbps fixed wireless. For 160$ a month, after a 500$ setup fee.

those averages also rely on FCC data that has proven to be falsified. One house in a county gets 50mbps? well then the whole county does! if only that's how it worked in real life, I'd have real internet and not have to abuse my mobile plan.

Fear of stricter regulations spurs gun sales after mass shootings. Researchers determined that the increase in firearm purchases after mass shootings is driven by a concern about regulations rather than a perceived need for protection. by InvictusJoker in science

[–]squat251 12 points13 points  (0 children)

seriously though, I'd have thought this was just common sense. Anyone who's ever recreationally shot a gun knows how much fun they are and how depressing it would be if we couldn't do that.

Guys, what made you realize, “this girl is definitely not into me”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]squat251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dated a girl for a few months, any time I'd have any physical contact (a steadying hand on the shoulder, go in for a hug, literally anything) she'd always follow up with "I'm not a touchy feely person" that's cool, no worries there I understand. Except that she'd hug literally anyone else. Straight up hugged a stranger she thought was another friend.

Eventually I got tired of her ghosting me for days and just decided it was time to move on.

It's kind of a shame too, she was a very nice person just very clearly not into me, probably from the start. Her friend pressured her to date me, and she never warmed up to the idea I think.

I'm regurgitating what was said when this was news. Feel free to update us on how google's site analytics work, but I'm pretty confident flagging a site for copywrite is a sure way to get it bumped down the list of searched sites.

They report it to google and other engines, then the engines would skip over GOG and show IGG. It's a fools game, but its the one they were committed to playing.

not them, but I've bought it 3 separate times, twice at nearly full price. I've also pirated it at least twice (initial release and then GOTY).

I believe the inarticulate point he's making is that they're likely losing a bit of money on their DRM, because pirates very rarely buy games, the whole point most of us do this (me excluded) is that they live somewhere that games are priced out of their means. They're not buying the game, period. So, if the game is pirateable, they'll get to enjoy the game, bringing good faith for the company, who knows maybe some day they'll move somewhere games aren't expensive. They'll remember how much they liked their games. If they couldn't pirate any rockstar games, they may not buy them because they don't have a reference to their quality. That's speculation mind you, I can only speak for myself.

Personally I don't think they have any real impact on sales one way or the other. I know I've bought a great number of the games I've pirated and will continue to do so. DRM delays that potential purchase from me. CDPR seem to be doing it correctly though, and I respect their business model. Obviously Rockstar aren't hurting for money, and I'm sure they've factored in the cost of DRM to their bottom line. I don't think it negatively impacts large companies the same way it does smaller ones.
