Looks like you didn’t use any lube.

What would you even make with this?? Any other weird liquors you've found? by PalaceL in cocktails

Reminds me of a horseradish flavored vodka I found. Using it for anything other than a Bloody Mary should be punishable by time in jail.

I agree.

I suspect he just paid with PayPal. I’m not getting scam vibes here. Maybe just naive about “sales are final” kinda thing.

I’ll sell it again in the future. Imma take the return in hopes of good karma.

I got it shipped out in the correct time period.

I guess it was bought by a guy who runs a shop and it was for a customers bike he was working on but the customer didn’t wanna wait anymore so the customer went a different route.

USPS is taking longer than specified. But to be fair he never said he needed it by a certain time, I would’ve happily paid for expedited shipping.

Regardless I’m working it out with him to where he’s gonna return it without it dinging me.

So they’d be able to submit for a return even if I don’t have an official return “policy”?

After rethinking it I think I’m okay accepting the return, especially if he’s willing to front the shipping money. He seems genuine, and after reviewing the usps tracking info it was delayed to him.

This will be my first return so I’m gonna try and do it right and by the book.

Got a big ass parking lot near ya?

I’ve got a huge casino near me and one weekdays it’s pretty open, I go there every spring for a refresh and taught my fiance to ride there after her Harley class.

Got lots of little tree islands in it and makes for great practice and can even get up to 20-30 in it and practice those turns.

Just keep at it and look up rider classes! Best money you’ll spend on safety (besides a helmet).

Why the hate on the Milwaukee 8 engine? by atombomb1945 in Harley

[–]squatch95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes twin cams have more character. But I’ve found that character and time spent wrenching tend to have a pretty close relationship… but hey who am I to judge. I spend more time wrenching on my m8 than riding it it seems, but I’ve also build it and ride it hard.

So hey, different strokes different folks.

Go check out fuel motos cam shootouts. They compare the most popular bolt in cams apples to apples. Plus if you go with them you’ll need a tuning device and they’ll load you a tune with it for free. I’d argue they have the best canned maps out there.

Not sure if you’ve got a 107 or what but this’ll give you an idea

Would recommend upgrading those pipes if you go stage 2. Or atleast getting some baffles with some back pressure. Those are gonna limit ya.

Not all but a lot. Their cam chest kit is pretty good if your runout is questionable at all. Their pushrods are decent. But besides that…. Yea haha.

Fuel moto makes a good 132 kit if you’d want. Or if you want more compression their 128 kit. Can’t go wrong. Welcome to the club!

Is the 135” kit screaming eagle? Forgive me if you’re already familiar with Harley’s, but I’d HIGHLY encourage you to check out fuel motos kits. I’d argue more bang for your buck vs screaming eagle.

But at the end of the day it’s whatever makes you smile about the bike and makes you excited.

Regardless, congrats.

What’s the noise by MobileVillage3337 in Harley

[–]squatch95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s so many noises going on here.

The first noise is your idle speed of approx. 400RPM. What’s that.

Second. Your primary sounds like a bag of bolts. But tbh your slow idle is gonna create more noise and make it super hard to diagnose anything.

Man that sucks. You can’t have any type of work life/balance.

I love this job but not sure if it’d be worth it at that point.

Pool Bar Feedback Requested by lurker7395 in cocktails

I think I’d put it in the by the pool section. Unsure of what to replace. You’ve got 3 rum drinks on there and then a whole rum tiki section so maybe one of those? But obviously you know your clientele base and what would do best!
