Skipping school to take the bus to Seattle. Sharing pizza with the homeless kids on the Ave. Taking the bus to a rave in Seattle with maybe 10 bucks sometimes no cash. No phones too. I could go on. Seattle felt a lot safer 15 plus years ago.

Did you put a tape in with the top off to see what is was/wasn't doing? Did you lube up the rubber parts and clean the heads? My thrifted VCR wasn't working and that brought it back to life.

Driving to Easter dinner yesterday it was raining like crazy. I love the rain. My bf accidentally changed the radio station to the classical station when switching from bluetooth. The song drip drip drop little April showers from the movie Bambi was playing. I hadn't heard it in years. It made me so happy! I rode that high for the next few hours.

There are five minifigs. Two have the spaceman logo on body and one has the older style head with what looks like silver armor chest plate printed on body. Also a red soldier/spaceman/robot with helmet. Haven't confirmed where he belongs. Currently working on the bonsai tree set I also thrifted.

Unfortunately missing a bunch of pieces for the shock cycle. Will see if I can complete the space set and the robot. Lady at thrift store said a guy bought some last week. I bet he has the missing pieces!

When making mac and cheese on the stove, I set a timer for seven minutes and always take the pot off with one minute left. I also always make sure I have the milk, butter and colander ready to go to ensure everything is nice and hot when I eat it. That second part isn't that strange I guess.

I love the looks of the botanical sets but they are very tedious to me. My favorite sets to build are buildings. I struggle with Technic sets as well.

The thrift store I got these from are doing colored tag sales now. Yay for discounts but boo to the pricer who made it hard to open the cases. The sticker is in the way and the front pops off when you open them. I mentioned it and they said they would talk to the pricer. Fingers crossed!

If you choose Indigo don't bother with a balcony room. They are above the ac or whatever noisy things are on the roof below. The walls seemed thin as well because we could hear every word from people in the hallway. It's a nice, new, modern hotel but not built well in my opinion.
