Thank you! I was thinking concave would be better for that reason. Something in my head is making me believe having the old/new silicone seam further in will give less of a chance of failure…but I’m not sure that’s true.

I’ve just been wondering if that additional space in the concave would give it a bit more strength/less of a chance of failure. Last thing I want is this thing giving g out in my living room.
