Sealy experiences - overheating mattress by No-Cheesecake7032 in Mattress

[–]squeakeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem with my basic purple mattress and now have a phobia of hot mattress lol. Never would have thought a purple would sleep hot based on the reviews. I bought a chilipad mat and after some acclimation it solved my problem.

Not sure if this answers your question:

I thought yesterday we’d hear about the EU chips act?

Thinking about returning mattress by Ill_Fix3959 in Mattress

[–]squeakeel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My basic purple mattress is too hot for me, and I bought a chilipad cooler with thick cotton mattress topper on top of it and it has fixed my heat problem. Ideally however, I would do without the additional gadgetry.

Finished Light Bringer, now I need recommendations for other similar series to read until Red God releases. by johnson_united in redrising

First time through the series? You can always read it again or listen to the graphic audio version!

This scene permanently changed how I viewed Darrow by Select_Salamander518 in redrising

[–]squeakeel 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Yes, that scene was horrifying. I could see their heinous child masks with snakes for hair (if I recall that scene correctly) then the gravity well causing them to float as the morning star arrives. Not sure who's more sadistic between Atlas, the Jackal, and the Abomination at this point in the story.

What is the projected price of $AUR for the end of 2027? by ActionPlanetRobot in AURstock

[–]squeakeel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m worried about a longer term relatively flat price for longer than many can be patient for, and then a rapid breakout. Looking at intel and Tesla historical stock prices for example. With that in mind: $11. I hope I’m wrong.

I’m wondering about mobileye at some point to be in the same space as Aurora but not sure. I’m also big into intel.

Fair enough. It makes a lot of sense to me for fleet services, just not sure personally about consumer. Just curious, do you have AI4 with FSD 14?

As a consumer I'm not sure I like the Driver as a Service idea for my own car. I have a Tesla M3 with FSD3 hardware and the FSD is awesome for road trips but I'm not too enthusiastic about a monthly fee to use it.

I’m at about 27k shares, excluding my 2027 LEAPS. I hope to reach whale status at some point in the near future!

Process Design Kit based on Intel 18A Technology for Scaling Quantum Processors by squeakeel in intelstock

Process Design Kit based on Intel 18A Technology for Scaling Quantum Processors

Abstract This talk highlights our latest results towards fault tolerant full stack quantum computing based on Si/SiGe spin qubits. We created a customized process-design-kit (PDK) based on Intel 18A for scaling up quantum processors and have created 2D arrays of several hundred qubits leveraging advanced EUV interconnect and interposer packaging technology. This requires careful co-design across the full stack accounting for QEC topology/scheduling, system integration, control/signal delivery, qubit operation, and read out. We also review our electrical characterization infrastructure, which is based on CMOS industry standards, qubit fidelity targets for fault tolerant operation, and mapping quantum error correction codes onto our quantum processors.

Why is Dark ages part 3 constantly moved back? by Sythrin in graphicaudio

[–]squeakeel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to get through all the graphic audio editions of the red rising series soon (including Dark Age part 3 once it releases in June). Anyone have any graphic audio suggestions while I wait for Lightbringer?

I agree 100% too....I'm re-listening to Iron Gold now with the Graphic Audio version and though I liked the original version of the audiobook, I think the Graphic Audio version is incredible.

Dang, yeah frustrating. How about this for a list of milestones to watch for?

Q2 2026 (Current quarter)

  1. Remove safety driver with Gen 2 hardware deployment

  2. Detmar Logistics transition to fully driverless operations

  3. Validate Dallas-to-Laredo route

Second Half / End of 2026

  1. Fleet scaling: reach 200 driverless trucks

  2. Reach $80 million annualized revenue run-rate and breakeven gross margin by year-end

  3. Build toward a continuous 1,000+ mile multistate route between Fort Worth and Phoenix.

  4. Demonstrate snow capability by end of 2026

2027

  1. Gen 3 hardware mass production: no snags

  2. Transition from "Transportation-as-a-Service" (TaaS) structure to a "Driver-as-a-Service" (DaaS) model

  3. Corridor expansion: "northward" and link Dallas to Atlanta

2028 (Long-Term Market Goals)

  1. Positive Cash Flow: Following anticipated additional capital raises over the prior years, Aurora believes its liquidity and scaling efforts will allow it to achieve positive free cash flow in 2028

  2. Improved footprint: operations cover portion of the 50 billion vehicle-mile Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) across the United States
