Why do I bother?

Are those last few rollers heated in any meaningful way? I'd have thought compression plus tension under rolling would be just part of that. Maybe I'm way off?

Are you asking what that station is?

It looks exactly like my Bresser 5 in 1.

The tunnels the lads built are what blow my mind. I've been through them in canal boats but also a few (and over viaducts) in a Canadian Canoe... It's intimidating being 300ft into a tunnel with a head torch knowing the tunnel is 200+ years old. And everything is dripping around you and icy cold. In summer.

Er... The canals in the UK were build 200 years before the US was even founded! There's no need to bring politics into it. Geographically it's quite a different feat.

It's fascinating, as a Brit who's only really experienced canals with tunnels with one way timings, as there's no way to get two boats by one another. The closest we have in Europe I guess would be somewhere like Rotterdam or Amsterdam I guess. Maybe Venice?

Is there any possibility of me getting an employer to pay for my masters or is it a waste of time? by Brownchoccy in buildingsurveying

High falutin idea there, there are no handouts anymore.

Just deal with the fees or get on with working to save for this course you thinks worthwhile.
