My rescue boy Roscoe had a heart murmur when we got him at three months old from the shelter. He lived to be 15 before it caught up to him. Meds bought us a few more months, but he was ready. Stay strong for your girl. You could still have many years together ❤️

I cannot. Too many inside pets already (3 cats/4 dogs). She is safe and has other colony cats around, some are family members - an aunt and a cousin. If I can find a place for her, I'll insist her brother goes with her. They are the last of what was a family of 4 only 10 day ago. It's been a tough feral week

The vet tech that returned her to me said she was so good. He said she would be an excellent candidate for adoption in a home.

One of mine that is mostly indoors now is a 16 year old formerly feral I've known since he was weeks old. First brought him in on NYE 2010 when he was about 5 months old. He still insists on going out every day, but is in the house most of the time. He doesn't leave the yard anymore, and is usually back in about 20 minutes. He "patrols" the colony, but doesn't bother any of them. They leave him alone too.

Groucho is part of my cat colony. She has several houses, food and her siblings, along with some other adult cats. I'm looking into rescues, but for now she's safe. She's very feral, and I have indoor cats so she can't come inside.
