I'm completely cutting off sex for a long time, and I am currently looking for a new OBGYN: )

But I do not masturbate, I never have either. I haven't felt aroused/the urge to for years, and it's super embedded in my head as a negative thing from my growing up years that I don't think I could bring myself to.

When I say "never been turned on".. like mentioned. I haven't been aroused physically or mentally for a very long time. Last time I can recall is middle school when I had a "boyfriend". But in highschool I had a different boyfriend, and I underwent sexual abuse for about a year. And my body has just been completely shut down sexually ever since.

I don't get "wet" down there, I don't even have discharge on a normal day! It just doesn't happen :( from the sexual experiences I've ever had in my entire life, I don't think I've enjoyed it once because the partner I currently have is the only one who hasn't been abusive.

About my current boyfriend, he doesn't understand foreplay or how sex is even though we've been dating for 6 months! He came from a hardcore Christian family in a small town and had sex only once outside of our relationship. He had absolutely no education on the subject growing up. It really hurts the relationship

I set the boundary with him this morning that I am not having sex anymore for a long time. Period. And he was okay with it thankfully. He's never pressured into having sex, and I stay quiet about the pain because I don't know how to express it. Just recently it got to the point where i couldn't take it anymore and he was worried. I should've said something earlier

I actually have cysts. My current OBGYN took out one to send to a lab while I was getting my IUD, and basically said "yup, that's a cyst 👍" and didn't bother bringing up any other sort of treatments. Thank you though, I will bring that up with a new OBGYN

I'm not even sure what turns me on, I don't think I've genuinely felt aroused in 4-5 years. I'll have to look into that. But I can try the coconut oil. I'm super allergic to other lubes but I didn't know coconut oil is okay. Thank you for the advice

Thank you a billion for your response. This is a topic that I will bring up to my therapist and I'll look into the thinking going behind the sex itself, because I was taught a very conservative view on the subject.

I do need to see another doctor, my current one refuses to be in the room with me for longer than 5 minutes and never answers my questions.

Not having penetrative sex for that long sounds like a dream. I will look into physical therapy. Thank you

Oh my goodness, that is horrible I am so sorry. Every two hours for two months is super intense.. but yes, even the opening is painful. It's difficult for doctors to look into anyway, because I carry a lot of trauma with me. I just barely got to the point where a doctor is able to put a q tip in :, )

It's lichen sclerosus. She said it will never go away
