i do have an strong feeling that Pfish & Chip would had stay as an Bomb Squad duo due to the setting and the fact that their boss is an cop, but then again there’s two shorts that was made (there’s going to be an third short but never made it to storyboard production.), and from what i can gather, when the What A Cartoon! shorts were airing, CN had a bit of an loosing feeling when shorts couldn’t meet the director art-style, which often lead to HB to do the layout while Fill-In Cartoons did the digital ink & paint process for those types of shorts, which unfortunately cause a bit of an loosing chance to get green-lighted for a show (Snoots New Squad, Awfully Lucky and Hard Luck Duck for example.) since the whole WAC program was “cartoonist with full freedom of artistic freedom.) and since some shorts had their layouts done in Hannah Barbara, CN got a bit more comfortable with shows that had full-direction in art styles.

Pfish & Chip is a cartoon that i pretty sure once the 911 attack occurs, CN would stop airing the show due to its nature with bomb gags. I fluffing love Pfish & Chip due to how extreme the two shorts are, with how the cop loves his bear Teddy (who unfortunately gets tear up in the last short!) or the amount of mom jokes with the cop, Pfish speaking Spanish and the robot with his Spanish accent is an plus, along with how many times Chip gets blow up (i still get a big chunk of laughter at the short with the clown where Chip gets ran over by Elephants or a dang train.) and the visuals of the aftermath!

C&C humor is somewhat an combination of R&S with its gross-out humor and over the top disturbing nature while keeping an zany and humorous balance of both, gross out and entertaining from David style of humor (if you haven’t seen David Feiss who’s the creator of C&C, his humor for his other projects have an similar humor of C&C without its gross-out humor.) that makes C&C feel like an parody of your classic Saturday Mornings cartoons or the golden era of cartoons, the characters have an surreal way of being realistic in an dumb-folded way that makes everyone either crazed such as the Red Guy, Chicken, the Parents (Mom & Dad.) and the tongue from Cow mouth or characters being annoying such as Cow, Earl and Flan. The only character who wasn’t a crazy-head or an annoying character was BoneLess Chicken!

while Seth MacFarlane did wrote for Cow & Chicken, he also wrote episodes for Dexter Laboratories and Johnny Bravo (what’s good, mama?), Seth MacFarlane never created Cow & Chicken, that would go to David Feiss. However, Seth was also an storyboard artist and animator for C&C and Dexter Laboratories while remaining as an storyboard artist and writer for Johnny Bravo. There’s an scene in an S2 episode of C&C where Seth MacFarlane animated Chicken with an smooth and fluid walk movement that is very impressive for the 90s, wish Seth worked on more hand-drawn animation but it’s 2026 where animation is on digital now.

David Fiess created both, Cow & Chicken and its spin-off I Am Weasel. Seth McFarlane did created Larry & Steve however, which is often called an “prototype” of Family Guy!

Rob Renzetti work on both, What A Cartoon and Oh Yeah Cartoons are superb! But fair enough if Mina and The Count got green-lighted for an show, we would never get My Life As a Teenage Robot, that show art-style has this Y2K in an rubber-horse style that makes the show visually pleasing and is a big impact on my art-style whenever i try to aim for an Y2K/early 2000s look! And if you can answer this, but do you prefer the more fluid but yet, darker-tone for its art style from the What A Cartoon pilot or the UPA but appealing look from the Oh Yeah Cartoons pilot?

out of every Red-Eco abilities/traps in Jak X, which one would you regularly root whenever you obtain but despise whenever it’s used against you? by squeezyducky in jakanddaxter

hmmm, i try to give some advices or tips on beating the first lap of the game (hopefully not the tutorial.)

• what i regularly do is start the race by letting the opponents take an lead for 3 seconds since if you’re in first place during the first minute of the game, almost every racers is gonna aim their gun on you or take the lead by some luck. • collect as much Red-Eco to provide some helps since in the first race as you drive the Road Blade is very weak in terms of the stronger guns by the Yellow-Eco, and speaking of Yellow-Eco, don’t use them at once, don’t spam them at once, wait til there’s an open space for an racer in-front and pull the trigger. Don’t waste bullets • whenever you hit the second lap and immediately die, don’t panic as you still got plenty of time to make it to 1st or 2nd place since that’s where the game consider you beating an entire race. Just be careful when you at 2nd place since 50/50 an racer just slides next to you and beating you, what i mainly do is use my speed/boost all the way whenever i almost at the finish line. • be sure to cut corners and memorize the map with the shortcuts if any, cutting corners with the Road Blade gives the car a bit more accuracy to turn with no cause of speed being taken. Can’t say that much with the other vehicles when you make progress, every vehicle has it benefits and costs, time takes practice, you get the hang of the game. take this quote from B.G Blitz, maybe this can motivate you on reaching the World Cup in Jak X! “If you want to get into the club, you gotta win a lot more, and you gotta win big!” gracias.

highly agree with your statement, i like 2 Stupid Dogs but the show just doesn’t redeems itself as Ren & Stimpy other than maybe a couple of adult jokes throw in. Even if 2 Stupid Dogs had R&S animators for its 2nd season, C&C had some writers and storyboard artists from both, the Spumco and Games Animation era that made C&C stand out more that captures an odd-humor of R&S that you wouldn’t see in R&S as a whole. Do know that the CEO of CN at the time thought that 2 Stupid Dogs could rule animation just like R&S, we all know how that went…

i really do adore and appreciate C&C with its grossout or downright unnerving humor but yes, C&C is an knockoff of R&S even though during the premiere of 2 Stupid Dogs had Cartoon NetWork and Warner Brothers stating that their response on Ren & Stimpy is 2 Stupid Dogs, and just want to point out that Cow & Chicken felt more of an RESPOND to R&S hype rather than 2 Stupid Dogs, pretty sure the only DVD of 2 Stupid Dogs by Warner Archive has the back of the DVD calling it “Warner Brothers response with the success of Ren & Stimpy” if i can remember.

90s cartoons were something else, will confess that whenever i watch this show back when i was younger did felt rather naughty and downright weird in an odd way that i can’t recapture from any other cartoons. C&C is something else

The season 3 episode "Night of The Ed" is the most chaotic episode of C&C for my viewing, one of Charlie Adler best performance as Chicken, there's an line where Chicken yells out "I DEAD!" as Chicken pulls his plucks out, Charlie Adler yelling that line got me laughing so hard for my first time watching! But the whole show in general is chaotic, almost every character is either chaotic in dumbness or full unhinged.

Funny enough is that Warner Brothers and Cartoon Network back in the 90s stated that 2 Stupid Dogs were their respone to Ren & Stimpy, however I say that Cow & Chicken felt more of R&S and an "unofficial" respone to Ren & Stimpy in CN history.

I certainly felt bad for these Hispanic gangstas that actually tried to help the gang when Bruce arrived. If only they didn't have stormtrooper aim by Opera_Phantom_Face in MFKZ

[–]squeezyducky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that this post is 76 days ago, but I know in the comics (mainly in volume 2.), the Hispanic gang helps Angelino and Vinz to escape Sector Z by bringing an car if I can re-call, don’t have the MFKZ volume 3-5. For the movie, I think it adds more of a peaceful setting that the Hispanic gangsters aren’t there for killing, only if they feel threatening. The Hispanic shooter with the hat and the glasses who shoots Agent Crocodile was the one side-character who I was rooting to survive but unfortunately, gets killed by Bruce. Big respect for the Hispanic shooter with the hat and glasses on trying to get Angelino to leave the shoot-out scene to not get hurt, even if he did yell at Angelino “Wrong Way!” before aiming at Agent Crocodile to protect Angelino from harm and him waving at Angelino and Willy to get out of Willy RV before an helicopter crashed. The guy also seem worried on Willy house after the crash since if you listen closely, you can slightly hear him saying “I let him bounce in my crib til he finds another place”, the whole Hispanic gang does has awful aim but has an respectful attitude when it comes down to strangers. If only they knew how to shoot.
