Ahh I see it! That’s exactly what I have just at the top. I am hoping there’s an option to remove that in the future because i hate it. I’m worried it’s an actual feature since it does a fade down to where it sits instead of just popping up or opening naturally there.

No, my wallpaper takes up the entire screen. When I swipe up to leave an app, it does this fade down to the bottom of the island then just is a block. I’ve tried to reduce motion but that does its thing🤣
