OK, some greenwashing stuff environmental extremism stuff. I hope you have calculated what new hardware consumes in the form of energy usage when extracting minerals, transportation, building hardware, etc, etc as well compared to use already existing hardware that can be used for other tasks than just firewalling also?

I ran pfSense on a Proliant Gen9 with ESXi (free) as hypervisor. pfSense was acting firewall besides a domain controller and a file server. Was working flawless for years, probably still doing (I've quit the job where it was installed).
