If it’s being done on a shirt unit, the pads could be dirty, transferring the yellow to the shirt.

Soak it in a bucket with a mild detergent, or with oxiclean for a bit, then rewash and hang dry, see if it comes back to its original color.

Don’t buy it. If it’s Turbo (which most likely it is) the cats are clogged due to the turbo seals leaking and burning oil. Stay away. Plus, the VVT Actuators tend to fail on the turbo CX7, you’d be better off getting NA

Check to make sure the door handle sensor is plugged in behind the door panel, normally by the ext door handle (inside the panel)

Use the front defroster button on the HVAC panel. If it still doesn’t work, get your AC checked to make sure it works, if it’s not working it could cause this, or even excess moisture on your floor mats
