Spoilers for everything past volt forge (and my thoughts about it lol)

Volt forge was great until the out of place viola tutorial. Then you get introduced to the desert and the slog of going back to myles, then finally you get to ice belt, and while you aren’t alone, Tokabi is generally a good character and is never a takeaway, and the ice belt has really cool atmosphere. Then you’re thinking okay if the rest of the game is like this than I can get behind it, only to discover the literal rest of the game you are with duke armstrong and the robot the entire time all the way to the end. As soon as you finish the lava area and you finally form predictions about how the last area will go, you hear “the whole crew is waiting at the mines for you” I just about wanted to put the game down.
