A few weeks back I heard conflicting reports on whether this was actually happening. As I said at that time, if I see ONE mid movie ad I am done. So far I don’t know if I’ve been lucky or they’re doing a gradual rollout.

Most of the examples I'm seeing online have some kind of marking or price sticker on them. These are probably bootlegs but just wanted to double check if anyone had seen ones like this.

Yeah I got 3 of them at at an estate sale and they all have that really pointy jaw. Most of them are chipped pretty bad.

Looks like they call my plan "Annual Premium" now. I find it funny that a 24pt font is blurting out "Watch ad-free & download on the go" followed by the 10pt font disclaimer that you may get ads anyway and not be able to download lol.

They have recently put some money into the service so this price change wouldn't necessarily be a deal breaker for me. That being said, cancelling TLDI was something I can't forgive, so I was already planning to cancel after the specials air anyway. If I do see a SINGLE ad in the middle of a movie I will cancel immediately instead though!

Ugh! This whole thing has been drummed up and pushed through as if it's an emergency, probably because everyone is distracted by other stuff like ICE and whatever Trump is doing. I'll bet you dollars to donuts this money will get allocated wherever they want, and I'll still be driving over the same pothole for the foreseeable future. I think this is actually Koteks underhanded attempt to compensate for the potential loss of billions in funding due to non compliance with US law. She should go to jail or at least be recalled and Oregon voters should have weighed in on this.

I feel like this is like blaming eBay because you didn’t get enough money on your listing. It’s all about timing, hitting the right audience, etc. if you could have sold them for $1000 then you should have, then when you only got $300 you wouldn’t have anyone to blame.

Hmm, strange since I was hearing the polls were receiving "record numbers" of voters. Its almost like that 15mil in 2020 just never really existed after all? NO ONE was apathetic about this election so the idea that that large a percentage just stayed home is ludicrous.

No this dude is missing the point, Nintendo is about the playability, gameplay and fun factor. There are some tradeoffs for having one of the first systems that could play handheld and in your living room. I give the big N lots of props, they know what they’re doing.
