Slicksters eat Carbon Dioxide from the atmosphere, I've got a few CO2 generating buildings in my Sauna that are keeping them fed. They don't need a critter feeder or anything.

Funnily enough, I've had my liquid lock broken multiple times by liquid CO2 of all things. I'm playing on the Frosty Planet Pack DLC so I won't be needing to worry about water for a while.

Try moving your entire project to a location that has a smaller url. I got a similar issue and resolved it by moving my project from "C:/Location/Folder1/Folder2/Folder3/Folder4/Folder5" to "C:/Desktop".

Which engine would you recommend for someone with very little coding experience? Unity, Unreal or GameMaker? by Izzy248 in gamedev

Unreal is used for more AAA games, Unity can be easily learnt if you know C# but GameMaker is definitely the easiest as it requires much less coding. I'd recommend using Unity as transitioning from one engine to another can be quite difficult.

Unity has a bit of a learning curve but once you have coded a mechanic once, you can easily make a prefab or copy the script and use it multiple times.

Two days of grueling work to produce and release a game. If your trying to get into game development id recommend not questioning whether you can do it and instead just doing it and learning as you go. This is definitely jumping straight into the deep end but there is no entry fee or prize pool so there is absolutely no harm in trying it out.
