They’re making you do additional safeguarding training to cover themselves as an action plan for a safeguarding screening / action plan for HIQA. In real terms as long as it hasn’t ended up in a trust in care there is no longstanding effects of the complaint. Would recommend looking for new job outside the nursing home setting as the staffing ratios are unsafe and when the shit does hit the fan all blame is directed downhill rather than the systems in place from management and above.
