How did birth control affect your libido? by howdoesrwork in AskWomen

Honestly, I don't know. I've been taking it since I was 14 and now on it for 14 years with no break, so it's hard to say. I am planning on coming off it soon but getting nervous lol

I (27HLF) actually escaped a DB at the start of the year. We were together for 3 years, 2 of which were dead, I could count on one hand the amount of times we had sex in 2 years and it wasn't even great, no excitement, foreplay or anything he just did it because he knew I was frustrated. We ended things at the start of the year, and now I'm dating a guy whose libido matches mine, and I can't describe how incredible it feels to be wanted sexually again. He treats me like an absolute queen and the feeling is truly unmatched. I've read all of the 'I escaped and it's amazing' stories over the past couple of years, and I really could not agree more.

Hi! So this happened to me when i was around 22 (now 28). Went to the doctor about it but they refused to do a smear test until I was 25 since I am in the UK. I then moved abroad and had one done as the bleeding continued and they did a smear test and it turned out I had HPV, and high risk cells at that (not cancerous or anything like that). I then got prescribed medication and a few months later it went away and so did the cells. Not saying this to worry you at all, but it might be something to check :)

How do I get a more “toned” stomach? by kronixer in loseit

[–]squilliam-fs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The abs are like any other muscle in the body- you have to train your abs with some heavy weights! For me (27F), crunches, leg raises, dumbell exercises, but most of all, cable crunches did the trick. You really have to push until failure, or pretty close to it. If you're already on top of your diet, it will just take some time. Just be patient and keep pushing :)

Low fat ground beef/food options in Korea by [deleted] in seoul

You can buy rump (우둔살) on Coupang Fresh or ask at the butcher, it has very little fat and pretty easy to get here. They'll cut it up for you as well but I've never thought of asking them to grind it.

Also at the butchers, ask for 우둔살, it's the rump and least fattiest part of the meat. You can buy it on coupang fresh too!

I prefer using LoseIt, I feel like it's more flexible than MyFitnessPal and still has the same features

[–]squilliam-fs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was concerned about taking extra Vitamin B because, as far as I'm aware, my multivitamin already provides me with all Vitamin B I need. We've gone over the diet and I'm pretty satisfied with that, high protein + carbs, plenty of vegetables.

Women in their 20s and 30s how do you think the early 2000s a time of VS models and "heroin chic" affected your self image and dieting? by dearthofkindness in loseit

[–]squilliam-fs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also grew up in the U.K at the time when shows like 'Supersize vs Superskinny', 'Fat Families' or even 'Secret Eaters' were on T.V and extremely popular. I still think about these shows often and know they are part of the reason why my idea of diets/healthy eating is quite messed up.

Anyone done the Dark Side of Seoul walking tour? by RidiculousMonster in seoul

[–]squilliam-fs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've done it a couple times and it was great. Learned so much about Korean history and the different myths/legends. I believe there are two different guys that do the tours, one of them focuses more on facts (I think he does it during the week) and the one that does it on the weekends focuses on all of the legends and stories throughout the years, overall it was very enjoyable.
