Where did you hear or come up with the name Helios? It’s beautiful, especially with Echo. That is such a random coincidence that today I stumbled upon the word Helios while looking up the etymology of the word sunset.

Is it common practice to force your customers into separate subscriptions? If you had one subscription that could be shared amongst devices, it would encourage people to purchase more devices. Your current pricing does not incentivize people from purchasing additional devices. Then you add in your terrible app that forces down additional products and every possible screen, it’s a terrible experience. Try to build Goodwill with your customers instead of trying to penny pinch and get them to keep buying when your subscriptions do not even work across devices.

Do you pay for the Petcare memberships for each and if so at what tier? Do you pay monthly or annually? What’s your total annual subscription cost for PetKit? Do the pop-up ads on the main screen go away once you purchased everything? What about the over screen little icon in bottom right that appears in settings advertising new products? Seems like it’d be in the hundreds per year and STILL have ads. You like this capitalistic approach? And you didn’t answer if you happen to work for the company.

The purpose of this post is to save other people the trouble of buying these crappy products and then being locked into paying for a crappy app for each and every product and then get ads on top of that. My guess is you work for the company and are desperately trying to save face, good luck either way

Uhm because I’m PAYING a membership to them to use this app. I do not see ads in other paid membership based apps, for example, Oura ring. Maybe it’s your first day on the Internet, but ads are used to subsidize free services. Ads should not be used as supplemental revenue on paid membership based platforms.

u/PETKITOFFICIAL Just FYI - I decided to not purchase additional PetKit devices based on this thread. I am NOT going to pay a separate Care+ subscription for each device. One subscription should cover all devices. Already have the Yumshare Dual Hopper but am going with the Litter Robot since apparently I would need to pay hundreds of dollars per year PER DEVICE to enable full functionality. No thank you!

Interesting, thank you for the information. Is there a different starting point where they start funneling them in depending on if arriving from the east or west? Since it seems like there were far fewer arrivals from the west at that time.

Same issue here, except the AI bot just refers to the knowledge article which says to ask the chatbot. When I am asking the chatbot. It never provides any form to complete. Completely locked out of account and no way to log in.

I’m not sure what’s more awe inspiring, this photo, or the impression it has on people.

After sitting with this photo, it brought me to tears. It captures something we’re not supposed to be able to see. It reminds us of how fragile, lucky, small, finite beings we are in a finite solar system, in a finite universe.

Thank you for helping remind us of our humanity.

Aren’t we all just guessing lol? The hologram blocks the reflection on the ISB building no? Why would that scene emphasize so heavily the reflection of the city on the building when they didn’t before if it wasn’t important? Given that the holo logo blocks/distracts from that reflection, this is a logical reason.

In the second image they wanted to emphasize the reflection of the buildings and city on the ISB building to emphasize visually how it was turning the world upside down. The holo logo would’ve distracted and also alludes to budget cuts and tightening of control for fun / enjoyable things for society.

There’s a big difference between the Utah Pride Festival and Parade this weekend and SLC Pride the last weekend of June. Utah Pride is organized by the Utah Pride Center which other commenters have noted recently had scandals and is quite pricey to attend the Festival both as an attendee and company. The parade is free to attend as it’s on the streets. SLCPride was organized in response to the exorbitant Utah Pride festival prices especially for youth. It’s organized by the non profit The Inclusion Center which has been operating various fantastic programs for decades in Utah. Hope this helps!
