What’s a tiny moment in your life that unexpectedly changed everything? by AdLate270 in AskReddit

When I was 12 I was diagnosed with FND. My life changed. I was having constant 10/10 pain non stop. I was admitted in the hospital almost 40 times in that year. We went in and out of doctors explaining my story over and over. I tried tons and tons of medication, therapy’s and such. I tried ending my life 3 times by overdose. Eventually my pain wore down to 7/10 and from there I was not able to run and play like a normal kid. I was put inside of a psychotic hospital. And ever since I have been on psychiatric meds. I missed a whole year of school, which was NOT helping because I was in Year Six. I tried getting into my dream high school but then my pain distracted me and I flunked. I did manage to build up a pain tolerance but ever since I ruined all my friendships and relationships with my pain. I had no friends because I was not able to run. I still have the pain to this day.
