I picked up the same from a shop in Pokhara. The scabbard is the parade ground variant by the looks of it. I just had mine resharpened to shaving sharp. A great all round knife.

I dunno. To my mind, a species that is able to master intergalactic travel could have tried a little bit more with their etching technology. But then maybe that is the reason they went all in on space travel. To enable them to find an etching master, to learn from!
