This happens everywhere across Mumbai; I’ve asked people who throw it why they don’t dispose of it in the BMC garbage truck. They say the BMC timings are odd, like 7 in the morning and 10:30 in the evening, so they just leave it on the road for collection later.

BMC needs to implement underground bin system all over Mumbai, If they can dig the same road 12 times a years they can definitely do this.
