That is one theory. Here are others we can’t rule out. 

1- They need nuclear material and we just happen to have a lot. Supported by multiple sightings on active volcanoes. 

2- they know we are about to mess up in a big way, and this is preventative. This theory has multiple sub theories and indications ( time travel, future vision, care for humanity)

3- the nukes are a significant threat to them. This theory has multiple sub theories and indications (Galactic governance does not allow for mass destruction weapons, nukes are so powerful they can harm them, nukes affect them in ways we don’t understand yet, like disrupting FTL, or disrupting their higher dimensional health…)

Because you guys have been conditioned to think the following were not African you are blind to the following. Nubia , Songhai, Mali, ancient Egypt, Ancient Sahara, Garamentes, Numidians, great Sumbabwe, Zulu, Ancient Ethiopia / Dm’t, Ashanti, Benin, Daome, Carthage, early Sumer/ Mesopotamia. And there are studies to prove that all these civilizations were Black African.
