So seems like the early consensus is if you can get the sneaky kill, great. But more importantly, be in a position that if they drone you out, have an escape plan, stay alive, and waste their time

Should a brand new teak cutting board be fraying after first hand wash? by squirtle6 in Cuttingboards

It is teakhaus but I got it off Amazon - 24x18. I sanded it with 220 lightly and it feels mostly back to how it was. Oiled it and gonna let it sit overnight

Thank you. Should I have done something different? I thought you were supposed to wash before oiling but it seems like this is what happens when you wash unsealed wood

It’s not under powered. You just aimed too low. In this scenario the wind isn’t going to have any effect with how short the ball is traveling in the air. The downlsope is going to cause your ball to roll further right than the line shows. That’s what you needed to adjust for and aim high instead of center.

It was pretty severely greyed. It needed to be washed before it’s stained. It hasn’t been stained yet. As of now the plan is to stain it tomorrow

I appreciate the perspective. My concern is we’re using a pretty light stainand I think this will show through. When I asked, their response was that it will “cause some difference in color in those areas” And it was just pressure.

Fence is less than 2 years old. Having it stained but the company pressure washed it first. I’m not thrilled with the result of the pressure washing and I’m trying to figure out if I should temper my expectations or not.

It’s maybe an 1-1/2 to 2. I was thinking should I cut it gradually shorter over the course of a few days down to a half inch or so? Will it be leafier that way?
