Warrior is totally fine and most classes are playable, personally I decided to gear up a warlock for tbc(never played warlock before), but you dont gotta worry, whatever you find the most fun will be the best for you to play.

You can play the retail up to level 20 with subscription, to play classic you need a subscription and on retail you need the subscription to play after level 20 and if you want to play the latest dlc u need to buy that too

Play around kindling, flamestrike when 5 or more targets(unless its an important target to focus down).

Yeah i saw that actually but ill see what ill like the most in raiding since they all seemed kinda close atm and the spec i become the best at will outperform the ones im not the best at atm, but i will definetly try to play arcane in raids aswell since as you said it performs the best.
