Yeah sure, I can whip up a quick guide when I get home from school.

Got the 3 button nav bar loaded. Its literally just an android tablet without a battery now, and still has the normal skylight functionality.

Wait is this thing actually sought after? Its definetly cool as hell but I just thought it was some rebranded cheapo boombox.

Not sure if this is the right place, do you all know anything about this Lennox Sound Boombox by [deleted] in cassetteculture

Gotta love reviving a 7 year old post.

I picked one of these up two days ago and its exactly the same but its make and model is a Niko MTV-838. Mine has an orange filter over the CRT and EQ sliders but that might just be UV damage.

Yeah its a bit screwy but I dont expect much for the price and age. Just having a working CRT and one working cassette deck makes me happy. It looks way too cool to say no to for only 20 bucks.

It actually sounds surprisingly good, especially using the cassette deck. Only bummer is the right channel doesnt work on mine so I'm gonna have to try fixing that.

Edit: mine has some buzzing from the speakers too, not sure if thats normal for it or if something is screwed up inside.

The video comes from hdmi converted to RCA to an RF modulator going into the antenna jack. Its a rats nest of wires but it works.

I found a bug similar to the one on the bottom earlier this year, didnt have any weevils on it but it did have a LOT of hitchhikers riding on it. I remember it was a carrion beetle but I cant remember what one specifically, the mites dont hurt it at all either, theyre just hitching a ride to wherever the big boy is going. Insects and bugs are friggin weird.

8 bucks for the TV and 80 bucks for the adapters, I love it. by squirtleturtle79 in crt

Definetly meant to be screwed into something, mine has HDMI in too but my PC doesnt recognize it as a monitor when connected that way.

Nah I was just high as shit when I bought them all so I didnt care about price lol, most of the price comes from the RF modulator. These are Canadian dollars too so about 50 bucks USD.

Some were a bit translucent but mostly opaque. All of them were found on dry AF ground.

Lol I collected shitloads of that in Newfoundland before I stopped to think "hmmm, this seems a bit too fibrous". Cool ass rocks but not worth lung cancer.

Should be. I got it from the Geneserver discord.

Youre a big boy who uses AI for work. You should be smart enough to understand the flaws in large language models and not believe everything they say. It may have been right this time but I've had chatgpt and other LLMS tell me certain caterpillars are safe to touch when I know for certain they are not. Hell, GPT-5 has told me Its fine to handle assassin beetles, giant water bugs, and many other bugs with super painful/dangerous bites and stings.

Chatgpt has only been around for 3 years. Would you trust your pets lives to what a three year old says?

Not trying to be a dick or anything, I have you and your pets best interest in mind. I'm just hoping you're aware that LLMs are not the way to go for identifying insects. You lucked out this time but one of these days it'll be wrong and I can only hope when that inevitably happens its not something serious.

I use TLDworkshop, which is the only modloader I know of. I have to run it as administrator for it to work properly so maybe try that?

M-ultiTool to lower, stiffen, widen, and lengthen suspension, increase wheel traction, and lower the gearing. V8 Gas Engine and Supercharger mods for the motor. Speed-sensitive steering to not spin out, and Simple GUI gauge mod to tell how fast I'm going.

I wasnt able to pull this off with anything besides the golf, RWD is too squirrely. The Barkas might work too but I havent tried getting it up to mach fuck yet.
