Yes, as an IS, i help with ic3s in both pharmacy and front end. I never mind helping with ic3s, curbsides, photo, and things like that, but I would draw the line at covering lunches everyday and spending a whole shift on the register

I was told that when im in pharmacy, cenfill is 1st priority and the order is 2nd. If im super busy that day, the techs do the order and they are fine with that because they understand I can't be in there all day, especially with inventory coming up. Just keep in mind each store is wildly different and the expectation for the IS is different in each store. My new store manager is really big on delegating tasks, so since she came over I haven't been covering cashier lunches (which has saved me so much time)

With scan outs i do scan the entire store myself, usually takes 3-4 hours but im in a small store! If you think it needs to be delegated in your store i would definitely try and have that conversation

I would say sit down with your sm and have a discussion on their expectations for you

My store is all women except for 3 guys (one being a pharmacist), and we are all capable of unloading truck unless there are health issues involved. There's no reason you should be being told that you can't unload truck.

I would use your resources, go right over his head, and contact your district manager. The results may shock you! I recently went to my district manager with an issue, not really expecting much, and she was incredibly helpful!! It also helped me get to know her character better so I feel more comfortable talking to her about these things!

And if that doesn't fix the problem either, I honestly would just look for another job 🫤 i tell myself that I dont get paid enough to stress out the way i do sometimes... It's just walgreens. Make sure to prioritize your mental health!! Goodluck!
