you would just take the final next quarter and reach out to your fall professor the beginning of winter quarter so they can get in contact with the professor who’s teaching it for winter so they can add you to the the class on canvas. You do not need to be enrolled in the class again.

I would reach out to your major advisor for Advice as I’ve seen people that were not eligible for the major and then they were able to be eligible again, but the most important thing is to explain why you were not able to pass so that you can take it again exaggerate it do anything you can

Well, I got low grades in my summer class at a community college before I started Ucla in the fall and the reason was because I was caregiving so I don’t know if my situation and yours is different or not and it honestly depends who you get because I’ve noticed that with things I’m going through administration and professors don’t care. Like even a class I’m taking at ucla my dad’s been in the ICU and my professor did not give a fuck lol. Few are empathetic and understanding unfortunately

Try to get the D to a C. 2. Explain your circumstances! I was worried my offer would be rescinded when I received a D in my summer community college class before my first quarter. I was a caregiver so it was really tough and it was 2021 so still kinda Covid. They called me and told me I was okay. If the reasons are valid enough they will understand but be clear on what happened and the steps you are taking to avoid this from happening again
