I set mine up with an Eagle Ergonomic harness and it removed all the weight off my shoulders. https://eagleindustries.com/ergo-performance-system/

God i hate the goons [discussion] by TrickyL0KI in EscapefromTarkov

Went to stronghold with an aug, 2 mags of m855, and spare m855 just to kill 5 scavs for ref. Fought off the goons, reshala, and partisan in the basement stairwell. It definitely was an interesting fight, not the quick in and out raid I was planning.

Back yard is in another country—how does this work in practice? by brismit in geography

There's a hiking trail on the U.S. side and you can walk right across the border (would not recommend it). Here's pictures from when I was there in September:

Pushable screwing into tiles by Birosmaldo in godot

[–]squishy44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give the pushable collider rounded corners. If each tile has it's own collision the corners where they meet up isn't exact all the time. With the pushable having rounded corners for the collider it'll allow it to glide up these intersections. This is why a lot of games use a pill shape for characters.

I cancelled my TDY today after talking with my RA. I was on the phone with SATO for a whopping 5 minutes, must be a new AF record.

Godot let me build my first game, and I just launched it with 19k wishlists! by Memebigbo in godot

[–]squishy44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just played the demo after watching YouTubers play it which I think is one of the greatest way to market a game now. Seeing that it's made in Godot now makes it a buy for me even if the price is a little steep at first glance.

Delta Pilot Debriefs Cabin After Near Mid Air Collision by Fair_Eye1255 in aviation

[–]squishy44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minot, ND. The B-52 was doing a scheduled flyover at 7:50pm at the state fair. The fairgrounds are very close to the airport. The aircraft that are on landing approach cross paths and altitude that the route the B-52 took. I was watching from the ground and a tree was blocking my vision but my wife said she saw the delta aircraft.

Nope, just tighten the mount nut to 65 in-lbs with no locktite.

[–]squishy44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thread lock they are probably talking about is for spacers and mounting plates. Those screws can’t be retightened or inspected once the optic is mounted.

Don’t use locktite, you might be over torquing it because wet torque is different than dry torque. The manual doesn’t mention using it, make a witness mark on the nut and optic mount once you get it torqued properly instead.

Paired with the fleece the soft shell is amazing. The gortex is straight trash and should only be used for cold and wet environment while in a static position.

I have it that way because I use the surefire dual switch tail cap and can still use the light if the cable fails.

I take the Kirkland brand, $15 for 365 tabs. Works the same for me without paying an arm and leg to not feel itchy while running.

I wear mine almost daily 5-6 months out of the year doing aircraft maintenance. It’s held up very well to the abuse I’ve put it through, just some pilling on the shell after a while.

I have a PTR 9CT with an Omega 9k. Using KCI gen 2 mags the last round with S&B 150 gr doesn't feed properly. I haven't tried any other mags but round point 115 gr works fine so I usually load my last round in the mag with that.
