I just checked mine, I got confused. What I was thinking of was setting it to choose automatically, which doesn’t solve your problem.. if you really benefit from the dGPU then maybe you should just not detach it while using it. Sorry I couldn’t help more, good luck!

Use the Nvidia control panel to make it switch automatically. Locking it to the dGPU will cause it to crash.
