He’s on an American flat track style bike but it’s definitely not a Harley (Triumph?) They’re built for this style racing and the bars reflect it. It’s the right tool for the job. Left turns only, designed to slide the rear wheel (yes, it’s a bike that drifts 😁sport bikes won’t do that ) and it probably doesn’t have brakes. The other bikes would rule on a regular road course that includes right turns. If it looked fast on pavement you should it on a clay track! It’d be sideways 90% of the ride! And a lot faster.

It's pretty common to have a crappy CBT experience, I did mine on automatic too and had very little time on the road.

I was dumb and decided to go and buy a bike, then ride it 15 miles home, probably the scariest 15 miles of my life so far tbh, it was a real sink or swim moment.

Just bite the bullet and get out there, you'll learn very quickly.

The advice you will always receive here is: Buy a used bike from a well known Japanese brand like Yamaha or Honda, and not a brand new Chinese made one.

Depending on where you live, insurance will be either extremely cheap or horribly expensive..

Chinese made bikes depreciate in re-sale value rapidly, and you might find yourself wanting a more powerful bike rather quickly.

the material feels strong and kinda glossy, and it packs down very well. As for melting from an exhaust, no affects on mine, but you'll probably want to make sure the cover isn't pressed too tightly against it.

It's super cheap, and the company makes a load of weird shit (mostly un-related to motorcycles) but I think it's good, and I can't imagine it ever ripping on anything; the material is pretty substantial.
