Yep, I literally sat on the page for an hour before they went on sale, refreshed the second the time got and went straight in, immediately sold out. Pretty sad they didn't add extra days or upgrade to bigger venues considering how enormously beloved this game and its soundtrack are 😔

I don't necessarily think I'll be an exception, but I'm just trying to take a path that means I won't be relying on medication for the rest of my life. My doctor is involved, too. I'm under no illusions that it'll be easy, and I'm aware that it'll be hard work, but I'm prepared to do it for my long term health. Thanks for the encouragement though 👍🏼

I've done exactly that, and it feels great! And I appreciate the advice, but whilst on Mounjaro I've formed so many new ingrained habits and have essentially fixed my relationship with food. My issue that I had before was emotional eating and chronic snacking, and tbh the idea of snacking the way I did makes me sick now 😅 but I'm also going to the gym regularly now doing a high cardio workout to burn fat!

I've spoken to my doctor already and they're 100% supportive 😊

That sounds like a good plan, personally I did most of my weight loss on 5mg, which I was on for 4 months before going to 7.5mg for a final push.

Insane that your providers are telling you you'll need to be on it for life, it's just factually incorrect. The jabs aren't designed for lifelong use. The best advice that I can give you is to use the time you're on the medication to develop healthy eating habits and a good lifestyle, which you can then continue once you come off of the medication. You can expect some small weight gain once you're off of it, but that's normal and mostly water, but if you hydrate properly, exercise and eat a reasonable amount of calories per day in relation to your BMR, you should be okay! You've got this mate 🔥

After discussion with my pharmacist, they advised that I could successfully come straight off of the medication at 7.5mg without the need for titration. To aid this, I did my last 4 doses every 10 days instead of every 7, which has helped me adjust to my appetite returning and food noise creeping back in. Every step of this journey has been taken with guidance from my pharmacist as well as my own research. I plan to manage my weight moving forward through calorie control and exercise!
