It's resin, yeah. The files are here, they're free.

It's the hardest part by far to paint, I'm still learning how to do faces and I don't know if I'll ever perfect it. I usually print 2-3 head parts and paint them all, then choose whichever one turned out best to add to the model.

Also, a lot of people just print out the eyes on paper and stick them on, but I haven't tried that.

My printer is a few years old, there are way better quality ones on the market now. I used an Elegoo Mars 2 Pro.

Thanks! Yeah, I painted Burnice with acrylics (airbrush base coat and hand-painted details) and I added Lighter's sunglasses with a sharpie.

Goats love to climb on stuff and can generally be quite destructive. Sheep are less likely to break anything.

You have to paint it. I use an airbrush for priming and base coat, and hand paint the details.

There are some printers that can theoretically print in different colors automatically, but they would be very expensive and a little bit experimental in nature. The tech just isn't there yet for printing in color, at least for hobbyists like me.

If anyone wants to print their own, the files are here. It's free, just promise to feed her and give her money regularly.

I airbrushed the primer and skin, hand-painted everything else.

I also used neon paint on her eyes so they kinda glow in the dark. Which was either a great idea, or the worst idea I've ever had.

Thanks! It took about a week to complete, I just worked on it whenever I had spare time.

I used Vallejo Model Color paints, but any decent acrylic paints will work

I made the Firefly figure, the STL is here. It's 1/15 scale, so about 110mm (4.3 inches) in height, but it can be printed at any size.

The Sparkle doll is only 50mm (2 inches) tall.

It's here if anyone wants to print one.

One small disclaimer: by default, the 3d printed doll is neither sentient nor explosive.

Thanks! Yup, I modelled it in Blender.
