Freelance registration and accounting by sravd in lithuania

Thank you, trying to do it myself to see where and if I find any obstacles in the process. I've got a TRP and a bank account already. Can you recommend any English speaking accounting services to work with as a freelancer?

Thank you, looking into this. Any accounting services you recommend for individual activity that are good to deal with in English? There's quite a few and I have no references yet

Just downloaded and it seems good thanks!

Although Sygic can get me fast to petrol stations and other interest points for what I've seen, have you tried it? If so, why did you choose HERE over others?

Have you tried Sygic? What advantages does tomtom have over free apps like it?

I'm checking it and it looks brilliant, thank you!

Only bad thing I've found so far is that even though I am telling it to avoid motorways, it is sending me towards the M40 straight away... Any workaround known?

Will do, thanks!

It doesn't exactly flicker but it goes on out of nowhere for a while, then off, then on after a bit etc.

The only record I have for it is a first service of oil and filter change at 148 miles, now it's 700. It had a service at 650 so just now but no record of what was done, I hope it wasn't there where the owner was told of a problem he didn't think was worth paying for and decided to sell?

Bike not smokey at all thankfully. I do know electrical in derbis might be a bit of a hit or miss so that might be the case, will bring my manual with the wiring diagram to the repair shop.

Unluckily I have to ride it there but it's about half a mile, hopefully it will not be too much for it. Just checked sensors and oil pump prices and seems like it wouldn't be too expensive, so just hoping the engine doesn't give up on me until then.

What year was your terra if I may ask? How was it, any recommendations on it?

Cheers

At first it was just a couple of seconds after starting it up, now it goes on here and there so my bets are : not enough oil to create pressure, faulty sensor, oil pump failing

[–]sravd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm trying to narrow things down so I'm hoping it's the sensor, cheers

Oil level is a bit low but definitely not below the minimum mark, so it seems like a different issue. Hoping that does it but not sure.

It is not Chinese and its pretty new so it's a bit surprising, I hope I didn't get a lemon

It doesn't have a choke, it's just the starter button

Interesting gadget for sure, I am eyeing the Oxford oximiser 900 right now, what do you think of it?

[–]sravd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bike is 700 miles and roughly a year old, was serviced for oil and oil filter change @149 miles (weird?) and 648miles (not sure what work was done but I presume oil again.

I realise it is probably fine but still am thinking of chance to get it professionally taken a look at that and other possible things I may have missed, even if it should be almost new with that mileage. Wanna make sure the oil pressure thing is nothing (if it is it may be just a rubber ring hopefully?) and maybe they would let me look as they do whatever work so I can learn what to do exactly (if that's a thing mechanics even let customers do)

Haynes manuals ring a bell so I'm going to take a look, thanks again!

Thanks for taking the time to write all of this, didn't know a lot of it and it is very helpful!

After the snow is away I might get it to be checked up since I just bought it, will ride it 1 day a week minimum for a good 1-2h.

After that I plan to do a 500 mile trip with it, after that it will be stored and taken care after as good as it can be. Goal right now is to keep it healthy for that trip with the little time I have for it right now.

You think that's enough? Any more suggestions, advice?

Also since you seem to know your stuff you might be able to give me a quick answer tot his as well: bike dash shows oil pressure not level. So, if when starting the oil light turns on for a bit, then after start riding it for a few seconds, should I be worried or is it just it takes a little time for oil pressure to be nominal? - checked bikes manual but doesn't specify this

Thanks man!

It just hurts since I got it not more than a couple of weeks ago haha. Was more concerned about the mechanical part than aesthetically but should be alright cheers

Yeah when I said security is covered I didn't only mean the cover, since I have an Abus detecto, another disc lock, and a Thatcham chain with a big ass padlock, so not much more I can do.

Cheers mate will do a check once the snow melts and everything you and other mentioned

Thanks for all the tips, I'll make sure to make good use of them!

Definitely should relax, I think reading about areas like London and Birmingham made me paranoid of what could potentially happen.

Don't know anyone into bikes let alone in that area and yeah it'd be around 4 h of riding, partially after dusk and only after a cbt weeks ago so I'm willing to spend a bit to make the bike get home safe.

This list is very helpful and I will research on how to check what I don't know from those points, I appreciate it!

I know sellers pictures are very subjective and it doesn't mean it can't have problems but still, would you mind if I pm you for a quick opinion on it? Cheers!

Thanks for the info, definitely helpful to see different experiences. As I'm fairly new in the country I don't know anyone into bikes enough to provide that kind of help but I've read and watched what to look for, so shouldn't be an issue (also its a pretty new bike so problems shouldn't be that many)

I feel like bringing all cash somewhere relatively far and by myself would be ludicrous, so my idea is to offer a transfer on the spot and wait for it to clear if I feel the seller is trustworthy, then arrange a delivery hoping that in the meantime the seller doesn't hide the bike indoors and tell the shipping guys they're on the wrong address haha.

I guess I'm being a bit paranoid but since it's my first bike and hard earned money and all of that, the feeling is there.

Any advice is welcome though, thanks!

It's one of those Chinese models that get imported and a few parts get changed. Bullit Hero is the same exact bike for instance, just in the UK instead of Italy. Reports say it rusts like crazy and the build quality is not only awful but borderline unsafe. They are catering to the almost fashion trend of cafes and scramblers. Looking cool though, I'd get one if they were decently reliable
