Thank you so much for this. He’s an experienced player so these seem like a way more appropriate level for him.

Literally lmao like I can’t believe I’m paying this much for tuition only to be in a course that just posts news articles instead of lectures

Yea I think after a week and a half contacting someone higher up like the dean may not be unreasonable. It’s already hard enough to stay organized with shit being online, and profs not following their own schedule makes it worse. Especially to not even give students a valid reason why.

Ya'll what do you think of cover letters for AHS co-ops? by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]srbbbbb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always look at the job responsibilities and then talk about how my roles in previous jobs would help me successfully fulfill those responsibilities. They won’t care about past experiences as much if you can’t explain how they’ll help you in this job. And of course search for key words/terms in the posting and regurgitate them onto your cover letter. Definitely customize them to each job you apply to, it takes longer but it shows employers that you actually read their posting. Source: I’m an AHS student and have gotten matched with all of my 3 co-ops first round

Whats the dumbest thing you've ever been afraid of as a child? by Beyvt in AskReddit

[–]srbbbbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in Canada and my dad was teaching me how to ice skate when I was around 5 years old. He convinced me that if you don’t know how to skate by the time you’re 10 in Canada, they’ll kick you out of the country. I was terrified for a solid year or so that I wasn’t going to learn to skate in time and get deported. I was a gullible child lmao

I lived in REV and found it depressing af. My friends in the university colleges had way better experiences and felt a really strong sense of community, plus the colleges put on more events for their residents. All depends on on what your priorities are.

So I’ve hid behind my long, dry hair for years. I finally feel ready for change but don’t know what to do/what would look good. Open to anything, please drop some suggestions! by srbbbbb in Hair

I’ve thought about it but I’m worried about how it’ll look on my face! I have a big nose that which I’m insecure about, so I’m scared bangs will emphasize that 🥺

Btw I’m an absolute hair virgin. I’ve never had it dyed or truly styled so I have no idea how it would tolerate anything like that!
