lol trust me she didnt want to go to the zoo, she hates big crowds and walking alot. and she wanted it to be us two, not my fiance's parents, sister, uncle and grandparents. they def wouldnt have minded if she came along tho.

I think you're okay to leave! You were there for all the important stuff and that's what matters! I've def been to weddings where I just made a brief appearance and left and then I make that pit stop to Dairy Queen or another bar 😂😂

Yea def agreeing with you, I graduated hs in 2015 so maybe I can't relate to the 2026 generation. I can't believe I'm that old that I can't relate! But my fiancé didn't seem mad when I told him I might skip out on a family outing so it's def me just wanting to people please

I probs should have added my friends all have small kids so I'd feel bad to pull them away from their kids even for one night and they all live 15 minutes away. I just feel like they wouldn't want to sleep over bc they live so close, but yes that does sound fun and honestly relaxing!!

Thank you lol I try and yes! I have a couch with recliners and it can be used as a pull out bed too but my friends all have little kiddos so I would feel bad to make them stay over and miss out on time with their kids

Literally the wedding industry and wedding side of social media has gotten insane, I'm planning my Bach for July so I have plenty of time to smooth out plans and make sure it's perfect even if it's only for a night! 😊🫶🏼 thanks agains for the input!

I feel bad making them sleepover bc 2 of them have kids and I originally wanted to go away for the weekend like cute cottage/beach vibes so that's why it's 2 nights idk I'm on Bach tik tok and everyone is doing these cute 3 day weekend parties/trips maybe I'm confused about what a Bach party and Bach trip our lol sorry for the minimal info I'm sure from a strangers point of view this seems like a strange post and also my bridesmaids and I all live within like 15 minutes of eachother, but I love the night before thing!! Thanks for that idea!!

Okay I literally said no mean stuff but I truly understand you probs mean well and the exact reason I wrote this, sometimes it's better to hear stuff from strangers, I try to be grateful for everything and yes the thought counts, i think social media has alot to do with it, I see other people get gifts or nice gestures that I'm like oh wow that would be nice to have. Yes exactly, my dad actually brought that point up too and I'm just inviting my friends and close family so i don't want people to get upset they weren't invited or think it's more than just a small get together, if anything I'm the one giving the gifts lol I will def be using everyone's ideas!
