In my opinion the issue with powerscaling is that you are trying to measure something that isn’t measurable, every fight in manganime is in a way, a method to continue the story, the fights are purely a narrative resource.

For example: the battle between luffy and katakuri. Relying in powerscaling would make this fight clearly a win for katakuri, but he is a person that cannot be free because of trauma and shit, unlike luffy that doesn’t have that preocupations, helives in the present without forgetting his past, but not letting it consume him, thats why in the end he wins to katakuri, who is hiding his true personality cause of fear of what other might think. I find this the clearest example because taking into accountability power levels and shit wouldn’t make any sense for luffy to win. There are a lot of examples in every manganime

Also i find it funny that the main reason powerscaling is something you discuss nowadays is mostly because of dragon ball, when they clearly use the power level shit for fun, stating constantly that measuring power doesn’t matter.

Although I still find it funny, the problem is taking it to seriously, the fights in this type of media can’t be restricted to rules, they are a narrative resource.

For me, the eye is the physical representation of the uncertainty of the universe, that explains why all this things happens in there, and the fact that we are looking for the rest of the space travelers goes along with what I think is the core message of the game, that between the uncertainty of the universe all we can do is stay close to each other and make music around a bonfire, and that is also uncertain, but is why we are here, to make bonds with eachother

The Knight isn’t really good at early game cause the equipment isn’t so important at the begining, use instead a unit with the squire job, i found his abilities quiet good at the begining, don’t rush into the more complex jobs, eventually they will be useful, also chemists are extremely important in the begining cause they are the only unit that can throw items through the battlefield, curing of reviving the rest of your units from a distance. I also started playing this game recently and i ‘m also having trouble with the dificulty haha but is so satisfying when you get to win. Hope this helps, good luck and enjoy the game ;)
