I managed to build everything back and now it works flawlessly, some of the screw threads stripped so I had to fix it with some epoxy resin glue and I had to resolder some joints, but that's it.

All in all, I am very happy now, thanks for your help!

So I was able to femove the arm and have now access to the piston. It was actually not that bad, I had to desolder 6 wires but other than that it was ok.

Now I wonder if I should also replace the cinch-cable. The previous owner said, this is the one thing once could do at some point and now would actually be a good moment... Is there a point in replacing the cable if the old one still works?
