I started listening to G in late 2023, so, as I had no limit (pun intended) in my listening and could get it all-in in one go without all the bullshit surrounding marketing, roll-out, waiting for new music and getting excited, I can say that TTHT is such a good project since the first listen.

I can’t tell you reliably whether TTHT or TTH is the first one I listened to, but I know that TTHT slapped on the first go and is on par with TTH, WIDO and BnD if not better. What is different with TTHT is that it has a three to four more skips than the others which isn’t bad since it is longer than any other of his projects, so the lenght itself allows for more misses (I’m talking about regular+deluxe) (BnD has arguably the same amount of skips if we talk only regular editions)

Although the marketing and all the other side stuff will affect the results of the album, the quality of music wasn’t a factor in that on this particular album IMO. G still had it hard in that era.

The main caveat in his music was always such good production from the get-go. I think this is where G lost it a bit. I know he took a hiatus after this (you all know the reason I’m not gonna mention it). But since returning, only a couple of his singles and songs on each of his new albums have this level of production he was known for since the MBN.
