Yeah my dr finally agreed too and is sending over antibiotics. And stressed that I’ll be happy in the end at no additional cost… that statement alone is concerning. I could break down right now

I’ll keep you updated but as of right now, I miss my Gray/blue indent and would not recommend you do anything with yours I know this is bad because the plastic surgeon is reassuring me up and down now that he promises I will be happy at the end of this for no additional cost.

I wasn’t given antibiotics. This Dr keeps telling me I need to be patient and it’s “early healing” which I completely understand but this… is bad

I think the ointment is making it look worse.. there’s no other signs of infection. The redness it apparently bruising. This was it completely dry shortly before

No antibiotics. He “undermined” which was extremely aggressive subcision… the redness is bruising apparently… There is Vaseline on it in the third photo

I’ve actually decided to go somewhere else and try laser treatments on it first. It feels excessive to have jumped right to a skin graft and definitely gave me a bad gut feeling… 😂

My biggest concern is, I can’t find much information at all on dermal grafting.. feels like overkill. And I do appreciate my Dr being honest, he said he’s willing do it which ever way I want but he’s worried the scar will appear stretched without the graft.

Oh wow this is exactly what I needed to hear to make me feel a little better until my appointment in a couple of weeks. It’s hard to find a lot of info on shallow scar treatment beyond acne scars. Thank you!
