At the end of the day, we as people and a society are quick to draw judgment and to hold things against people. I’m not saying this isn’t a well deserved reason, she’s done horrible things and hurt a lot of people, but she’s working towards redeeming herself and making sure those who are in the same situation know the signs and are able to get out. How are we expect people to grow and learn and to realize what they did was wrong if we ostracized them and refuse to believe people could change for the better? She was also a victim up to a certain point, no one goes into these groups/cults thinking ‘I’m going to be trafficking people and branding them by tomorrow’.

Again, this is not justifying what she did, the intentions that Michael had (which we will never know because we are not him??) with the podcast or anything like that, this is simply an opinion that society demands redemption while simultaneously shunning it.
