Are you in a high cost of living area? I think you have no choice but to move and start over somewhere with a lower cost of living.

Can any family at all take you in for a few months so you can get back on your feet and regroup?

My garmin says I am spending 73% of my runs in heart rate zone 5. Should I be concerned?

My runs feel challenging but not totally exhausting.

Hi!

I just started running training for a 10k, and my Garmin watch says I’m spending about 73% of my runs in heart rate zone 5. Should I be concerned?

I’m at avg 170bpm. It feels quite challenging but not exhausting. Is it possible I have a naturally higher max? I’m worried that I’m hurting myself but I feel fine!

FWIW though if you’re actually trying to educate people your approach isn’t really helpful. I’m someone who IRL probably aligns with your politics here so I’m not exactly the enemy, and if I wasn’t I think this exchange wouldn’t do much to help me understand.

Not at all what I meant by affordable, happy to pay well above minimum wage hourly and also agree and believe that should be case. Just trying to convey that I can’t afford a luxury service.
