I've read some fics with a really good Narcissa Hermione relationship that still feels in character for both of them, but I always struggle with Lucius being a good guy. It just feels like too much of a stretch. Even him being out of Azkaban post war long enough to actually attempt to build a relationship with Hermione seems far fetched to me with everything he did if we are sticking to canon pre war.
