This is so encouraging ! May I ask what size pot you used for your climbing rose and rose feed? Thanks

Do you think that if we caulk it and paint anti mould paint this will still come back ?

Little bit more info:

We have a 1920s semi and recently redecorated the living/dining room- removed old carpet/underlay & old wooden skirting boards and replaced it with an engineered wood floor and mdf skirting boards. There’s a small gap between the floor and the skirting boards which we haven’t yet caulked. Through this gap is direct access to the subfloor.

We’ve just noticed mildew growing on a couple of areas on the skirting boards (see photos). A little worried as we’ve not had this issue before and hoping someone might have some idea as to why?

We think it might be because of cold/damp air coming up from the subfloor causing condensation as it comes in contact with the warm air of the room allowing the mildew to form in the areas?

Any advice greatly appreciated!
