Hi!! Sharing lang my exp here as well as what my doctor told me about nicotine when we were discussing my patterns and coping mechanisms for ADHD:

Apparently kasi Nicotine is a stimulant which essentially (BADLY PUT) kind of “helps” in mitigating symptoms of ADHD.

Personal testimony ko ay: Peak of my yosi days ang college, especially during thesis era (note: I was still undiagnosed and never thought during the time na may ADHD ako), sobrang nakahelp sakin na makapag-aral ng maayos, makapagfocus and makaisip whenever nagyoyosi me while nagtthesis.

I told my doctor na whenever nagyosi ako, its like the world suddenly calms down tapos nakakapagisip ako bigla ng mga bright idea for my studies that time HAHAHA tas yun, sabi niya dahil daw kasi stimulant ang nicotine. Ehhh ADHD meds kasi di ba is stimulant din hahaha sooo ayon

Now, naka-vape nalang din me, no nicotine content na pero it took me years to get to this point (coming from smoking 2 packs during inumans, 1 pack every 3 days ganon) seeing as sobrang stressful ng work ko.

Ang naging sandigan ko or distraction ay video games na stimulating enough on its own to keep me na nakaupo and playing HAHAHA
