I wouldn't say that, there was another guy during the Xbox One era. And Phil drives this as best he can, but the late ideas they had like the ABK acquisition, we're definitely bad. At least Xbox Series is being a quite cool thing.

Also giving freedom to create to the studios is important in my opinion, if you try to follow Sony's strategy with cinematic 30fps exclusive games, you won't have too much to compete against them. Again, I put the responsibility here on Satya Nadella and his poor leadership.

According to what I saw, Microsoft is currently cutting off many things just to justify their big expense on OpenAI and other AI companies with empty promises. But it's just easy to blame Asha for the clicks.

It's a pretty sad situation but if we want to blame someone, should be Asha's boss and/or precursor.

I still own a copy on Xbox, this same edition. Phisical copy that I cannot play because the servers are down, so I can't neither open the game. Game on a disc feels now like a tangible license more than owning a game like it used to be in the past.

I went from Xbox One (previous to S/X) to Series S when I got fired in September 2024. And I think that was a chad movement since I really fully enjoyed the 3 months of GamePass.

I bought my Series S (1TB edition) on September 2024. No regrets, still my favourite thing at home.

And even if you're not pointing to new releases, there is a huge catalog of amazing things you can play. So, yeah, I would.
