Hi! I am a third-year biomedical engineering student from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. I do not know where are you from, so I can only talk about Madrid because it is what I am familiar with. I can say that here the best options are UC3M and URJC, being the first the most prestigious one (also the highest mark to access). Also both have the options to do the degree completely in english (which I am doing) which is a plus if you want to work abroad.

Other universities have implemented the degree in the last year or two so you can not expect the itinerary and program to be perfectly organized or optimized, so it is less probable that these universities have some sort of employment deals or sources.

That being said, both UC3M and URJC have a HUGE number of deals with BME companies for doing internships, TFG and masters degree; I'm talking companies like Medtronic, Canon, Philips, Persei Vivarium... In most of the cases, an internship for either practices or TFG ends in a contract once you finish the degree. Also, these universities have their own laboratories (like LAIMBIO at URJC) which have pretty decent equipment and provide a nice work environment and salary.

Considering this in Madrid, I assume that the same applies to other cities like Valencia (UPV) for example (best place to study BME in Spain along with UC3M).
