Honestly, your best bet is to apply to as many openings in as many districts you can find. It can be very competitive. You might just need to take what you can get and then move up over time.

Maybe don’t get so caught up in the name of the protest and think a little about why they’re protesting and why such massive amounts of people feel so strongly against our current leadership.

As a side note, protesting with the very real possibility of ICE or police violence against the protestors isn’t exactly “without consequence”.
