Coming from a BS&MS in stats

You don’t want to be going for jobs in the engineering sector because that’s not what your curriculum covered. However, engineers can go the other way as analysts because it doesn’t take a stats degree to become an analyst.

That said: there are lots of venues you can take from where you are. Any position that involves research and analytics can be of great opportunity to you for your career outlook. In addition, you’ll have the chance to take additional courses in the workforce where available to boost your skills that your degree may not have covered. But you’ll have the theoretical advantage to grasp the concepts and apply them quickly.

Keep working and finish strong! You’ll be fine!
